Job Description

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance/Company Car (DOE)

Are you an experienced property valuer looking for a fresh challenge with one of the UK’s leading property companies?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established national business that is looking to expand its auction division with the appointment of an Auction Valuer covering Nottingham

Previous auction experience isn’t essential. If you have a proven track record of winning instructions, building relationships, and valuing residential property, this could be the ideal opportunity to develop your career in the fast-growing auction sector.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for valuing properties suitable for auction, advising vendors on the benefits of the auction process, and developing your own territory to generate new business opportunities. You’ll work closely with an experienced support team while having the autonomy to grow your area and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out market appraisals across Cheshire.
  • Identify properties suitable for auction.
  • Build and develop relationships with vendors, estate agents, investors, and introducers.
  • Generate new instructions and grow your territory.
  • Guide clients through the auction process from valuation through to completion.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and professional advice throughout.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Valuer, Senior Valuer or Lister within estate agency.
  • Strong knowledge of the residential property market.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to winning new business.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Auction experience is advantageous but not essential.
